Bergen, Askøy, Øygarden and Bjørnafjorden municipalities shall enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of musical instruments and associated audio and lighting equipment.

Following the cancellation of a previously published tender contest, a new invitation to tender for the framework agreement is hereby announced. 

The agreement includes keyboard instruments, guitars, bass, PA equipment, drums and percussion, stands and various accessories.

The agreement will not include the acoustic pianos/grand pianos, wood and brass wind instruments.

Musical instruments and equipment that are used for play in nurseries are not covered by the agreement. The agreement does not include instruments and equipment termed 'new beginner' instruments or equipment.

The contracting authorities have a separate agreement for other audiovisual equipment. This agreement is thus only for audio and lighting equipment that is connected to the use of instruments and music production, training, or practice.

The framework agreement will apply for all orders, but separate contests can be announced for individual procurements with a total value of more than NOK 150,000 excluding VAT. Furthermore, exceptionally and for artistic reasons, there can be a need for some specific products in a high price segment that are not priced in the contest, but under the threshold of NOK 150,000 excluding VAT. For example, the school of arts can need a special guitar or a special piano in the price class above NOK 30,000 excluding VAT. This will apply for a very small number of procurements, if any. Such individual procurements can be requested separately and are not included in the agreement .
