The aim of the railway plan is to draw up a railway plan for changes to the Naantali traffic point so that passenger trains can also operate to the service point in the future. The aim is to design a new platform for passenger train traffic in the area, the necessary track changes, and the electrification of the track and signalling systems. In addition, park-and-ride facilities, fairways and transport connections are planned to be improved to the extent required by the project. The aim is also to plan the necessary changes to the rearrangement of freight train storage tracks in the Naantali traffic point area, including the possibility to circumnavigate locomotives. The aim is to find a solution that is technically, transportly, environmentally and economically feasible and acceptable.
