2.1 Performance advertised

According to § 53a para. 3 nos. 3 and 4 of the Baden-Württemberg Road Act, the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport fulfils "centrally performed tasks in the road sector throughout the state", including

- "Traffic Management"

- "Planning, construction and control of traffic-influencing facilities"

- "Operational supervision of tunnel systems" (from 01.01.2024)

- as well as the necessary "construction and operation of the traffic and tunnel control center"

in the area of roads in the road construction burden of the state or the federal government".

In order to fulfil the legal mandate, the design and approval planning (service phases 1-4 according to HOAI) for the technical equipment as well as the furniture (buildings and interiors) of the new traffic management and tunnel control centre of the state of Baden-Württemberg (VMZ) must be developed. This is to be done by an appropriately experienced planning office.

With this call for tenders, an external service provider is being sought for the design and approval planning (service phases 1-4 according to HOAI), the technical equipment and the furniture (buildings and interiors) of the new traffic management and tunnel control center.
