Operation of a dynamic purchasing system for the category laboratory consumables with the subcategories:
1. Microbiology (media, dry culture media, dip slides, etc.)
2. Life Science (PCR plates, life science kits, cell cultures, etc.)
3. Chromatography (columns, vials, etc.)
4. General consumables (crucibles, electrochemistry, laboratory glassware, plastic goods, etc.)
5. Clean room (wipes, swabs, flooring, etc.)
6. Laborchemikalien
For this purpose, suitable economic operators are to be identified and their online shops are to be integrated into the digital procurement system of the University of Hohenheim via an existing OCI interface.
The order is placed by e-mail or via a B2B connection as an SAP order to the contractor.
Special feature: a dynamic procurement system is available to all suitable bidders throughout the entire term, even after the corresponding tender has been completed. This means that further suitable bidders can be integrated into the system during the entire term.
Sales of laboratory consumables were:
2018 => approx. EUR 1.97 million gross
2019 => approx. EUR 1.81 million gross
2020 => approx. EUR 1.63 million gross
2021 => approx. EUR 1.76 million gross
This results in an average annual turnover of approx. 1,792,000 euros gross per year (= approx. 1,500,000 euros net per year).
Against the background of the revenues in 2018 in connection with the inflation present in the summer of 2023, the award value is estimated at 2.0 million euros gross per year.
