Implementation of the
"Diversity and Equal Opportunities Survey (DuCS 2024)"
The Federal Institute for Population Research (BiB) is carrying out the project "Diversity and Equal Opportunities in Organizations: The Federal Service in Comparison to the Private Sector Labour Market Sector" as part of its research-based policy advice and with funding from the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration, the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community and the Federal Government Commissioner for East Germany. The aim of the project is to investigate the labour market integration of migrants and their descendants in the federal public sector in comparison to the private labour market sector in Germany, taking into account the special features of the public sector. The focus of the project is the contract to be awarded to carry out the "Diversity and Equal Opportunities Survey (DuCS 2024)" as a centrally conducted employee survey in the federal public service (Federal Administration).
In detail, the assignment includes the following tasks:
1. Provision of the technical infrastructure for the online survey
2. Programming of the survey instrument
3. Option 1: Layout and printing of a written questionnaire as well as digitization of the answered questionnaires (option 1 "PAPI survey")
4. Provision of contact options for the survey participants
5. Option 2: Creation of a project homepage for employees as a central information platform for the survey (option 2: "Project homepage")
6. Execution of a pretest and preparation of a pretest report
7. Conduct of the employee survey at several points in time
8. Regular field reporting
9. Data protection
10. Data preparation and data verification
11. Weighting
12. Creation and delivery of data sets
13. Preparation and delivery of methodological reports
