In the prisons of Baden-Württemberg there are prisoners and preventive detainees who require medical examination, diagnosis and therapy within the framework of the legal requirements for the health care of prisoners. In addition to attending physicians and psychotherapists, doctors and psychotherapists are to be deployed in the future, who will be connected via data lines as audio and video within certain reaction times and who will provide medical and / or psychotherapeutic services requested within the framework of the specific doctor/psychotherapist presentation, which is carried out by institutional employees. The maximum quantity of services available shall be set at 96 times the above-mentioned monthly averages per partial service. In the case of telesubstitution and telepsychotherapy, the maximum amount increases proportionally when extended by further facilities.

The maximum purchase quantity of the terminals and the use of digitally working medical devices is an average of two terminals/devices per facility and device type.
