DTU offers a main contract for the construction of a building that will include an extension of DTU Skylab on the Lyngby Campus. The project includes the construction of a building of approx. 3,000 square meters spread over 3 function floors and 1 engineering floor, including a number of smaller redevelopments in the existing building 373D.

DTU invites all interested main contractors / applicants, etc. for information meeting on this tender. The information meeting will be held on 9.1.2019, at. 10:30 in Building 409, Energy Road, 2800 Kgs. Lyngby. Registration is not required.

Offer of a main contract for the construction of the new DTU Skylab. The new building is being built together with the existing building 373D (current DTU Skylab). The building occupies a ground level jump from ground floor to 1st floor. The building must appear raw and industrial with large open multifunctional spaces, where DTU Skylab's many different features are visible to everyone.

The building contains the following functions: arrival area, café area, production kitchen, multi-room, 2 laboratories (a GMO1 lab and an unclassified teaching lab), project development hall with large glass roof, workshops, roof terrace, offices, meeting facilities etc.

The tender is implemented as a restricted tender.

The construction work is basically divided into 2 sub-contracts, one of which consists of concrete elements and the other sub-contract relates to the remaining part of the main contract to which this contract notice relates. The subcontract for concrete elements is expected to be awarded in accordance with the rules in section 8. of the Tendering Act.
