In the project for the new construction of the main fire station in Bottrop, various planning and construction services are required.

The subject of this procedure is one of the first contracts to be awarded to the services of construction management with upstream project management lines, initially of stages 1 "Project preparation" and 2 "Planning" in accordance with Annex 6 "Construction management service profile", which is attached to the retrievable tender documents.

The city of Bottrop intends to build a new main fire station in Bottrop with outdoor facilities and a connection to the transport and technical infrastructure. The planning and construction are to be carried out by private partners on behalf of the city of Bottrop. After completion, the main fire station will be operated by the city of Bottrop. An initial plausibility check of the reported requirements confirms a usable space requirement of approx. 12,000 m² NUF.

The planning and construction services are to be put out to tender throughout Europe. The award model developed by the city of Bottrop currently provides for the following additional modules in addition to the awarding of construction management services using this procedure:
- Awarding of general planning services for buildings (GP I)
- Awarding of the general planning services for outdoor facilities (GP II)
- Awarding of construction contracts to a general contractor
- Awarding of construction services in several individual trades
- Further individual awarding of planning and construction services
