It is intended to award this contract through a Joint Venture company, Oweninny Power Limited. The Joint Venture parties are Bord na Móna Energy Limited and ESB Wind Development Limited. Expressions of interest are being invited from suitably qualified candidates interested in being considered as contractor for the electrical balance of plant requirements for the Oweninny Wind Farm development.

Oweninny Phase 1 and Phase 2 will have a total aggregate installed capacity of 172MW. We intend to award this tender in lots with the initial phase (Lot 1) consisting of 89MW which is scheduled to be tendered In 2014.
