The operating services comprise a total of approx. 5.4 to max. 5.7 million train-kilometers per year on the lines Nuremberg - Bamberg - Erfurt / Sonneberg / Saalfeld and Bamberg - Würzburg.

The transport services to be provided include the operation of regional transport in the network Franken - Südthüringen on the lines Nuremberg - Bamberg - Erfurt / Sonneberg / Saalfeld and Bamberg - Würzburg.

As contingent position, five daily train pairs are to be offered on the new Coburg - Erfurt Hbf line in ICE interlayers.

The services are to be provided from the beginning of the timetable year 2024. The contract ends at the end of the timetable year 2035.

The transport agreement to be concluded is designed as a net contract, ie the transport company bears the risk of developing the farmer's revenue. The Transport Contract will contain detailed specifications on the quality of the services to be provided.

The provision of transport services requires the use of new vehicles.
