The vehicles of the DTZ fleet (RABe 514) are used by the SBB in the greater Zurich area as S-Bahn trains in regional traffic. After 16 years of operation, the vehicles are to be revised so that operation can continue to be ensured.

The contractor is responsible for the development, manufacture, qualification and delivery of the connecting cables and plugs including inserts and contacts. This also includes connecting materials and seals that are necessary for connecting and fixing the individual items in accordance with the specification (part 4 of the tender documents).
