Description:
Supply of a high-resolution mass spectrometry equipment coupled to a nano-HPLC for a proteomics platform for the Scientific-Technical Services of the University of the Balearic Islands, funded with the project 07FI2022, Scientific and technical infrastructures Science and technology ecosystem of the Balearic Islands.

This contract requests the acquisition of a high-resolution, exact-mass spectrometer that can work in MS and MS/MS (MSn) mode. This equipment must have the ability to work "online" with nano-HPLC ("High Performance Liquid Chromatography") type systems to achieve effective separations in complex samples for proteomic studies. In addition, it must have the ability to work in MALDI-IMAGING mode, in order to obtain "omics" mappings (metabolomic, lipidomic and proteomic) on biological samples. This equipment will allow comparative and quantitative proteomics analysis of maximum quality and resolution, and address cutting-edge strategies such as single-cell proteomics, metaproteomic analysis and proteomic mapping on tissues. An open procedure is processed with evaluable criteria through value judgment (on B) and automatically evaluable criteria (on C)
