Subject-matter of the works:

Framework agreement for electrical installation and cabling works in the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Campus Etterbeek (VUB) and Campus Jette (VUB) and in the University Hospital Brussels (UZB)

Explanation:

The contracts to be awarded under this framework agreement are divided into four chapters:

• Chapter 1: General and directing

• Chapter 2: Cabling and electrical installation works

• Chapter 3: Electric signs

• Chapter 4: Fire detection - Fire protection

• Chapter 5: Engineering and drawing

• Chapter 6: Maintenance

The works can be carried out in the context of renovation and renovation projects and maintenance work within the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the UZ Brussel and the buildings they manage.

Depending on the assignment or the project and in consultation with the client, the works will involve the delivery and placement of the necessary material or only the placement of material made available by the client. Through the agreement, the client can also hire skilled workers in directing to strengthen its own teams.

The six chapters are part of one plot and therefore cannot be separated. The offer for the six chapters must be made by one contractor. Failure to submit one of the chapters means that the entire offer will be assessed irregularly.

The client does, however, reserve the right to award or not to award parts of the measurement statement without this affecting the offer of the other measuring state stations.

The items indicated in the measurement statement do not automatically mean that the client is obliged to order these items from the selected tenderer.

The six chapters should be read as a whole. Provisions in one particular parcel also apply to the other parcels.

Important:

The power supply within a hospital (UZB) is a very critical fact and must be built up and managed very carefully and with the greatest attention to safety, quality and operational reliability.

The incorrect operation of the electrical installation can have far-reaching consequences for everyone within the hospital (UZB), especially our patients.

The client therefore expressly wishes the tenderer to fulfil this guarantee.

If the tenderer does not guarantee quality and reliability during the term of the contract, the contracting authority may unilaterally and with immediate effect terminate the contract for one lot or the contract as a whole, without this being possible or compensation being obtained by the tenderer.

Place:

Each campus (VUB and UZB) is cadastrally recorded and includes all architectural entities that are located within the cadastral plot. For the UZB it concerns the "Brussels Health Campus" and for the VUB the "Brussels Health Campus" and the "Brussels Humanities, Sciences & Engineering Campus".

Buildings that are not directly part of the entities specific to the UZB or the VUB but due to their geographical location within the demarcation of the campus also belong to the campus and are therefore part of the size of the campus.
