Essex County Council is retendering its current contract for the secure storage and disposal

of data bearing items owned by Essex County Council.

Essex County Council are seeking a supplier to provide secure NCSC (National Cyber

Security Centre) and ADISA (Asset Disposal Information Security Alliance)

approved/aligned redundant IT data destruction, resale and recycling services for all types of

end of life IT equipment. It will also include the provision of secure storage for new or to be

reused IT equipment.

The contract is to commence from December 2024 for an initial period of 4 years. This

contract will have the ability to be extended for a further 24 months making potential expiry

November 2030.
