Description:
Data 4 Healthy Recovery Hackathon (EU Industrial Hackathon) — GRO/SME/19/F/222

Design and implementation of a hackathon in the area of smart health.

A hackathon is a design sprint-like event in which experts in a specific field (e.g. computer programmers, engineers) and others, work in groups to develop the best potential solution for a concrete challenge. This challenge is pre-defined together with stakeholders during a collaborative process, to enhance the buy-in and uptake of the developed solution. This measure would involve:

— work on joint development of a specific challenge(s);

— reaching out to interested industrial stakeholders (challenge owners);

— co-creation process of defining the challenge (e.g. using workshops or consultation process);

— identifying, coaching and inviting interested teams of ‘hackers’;

— organisation of the final hackathon event during which teams would develop potential solutions.
