The objective of the tasks to be performed under the framework contract is to provide support to activities of international cooperation and relations on satellite navigation. In particular, this will include:

— provision of expertise in various user domains and regions to prepare, participate in, and report on relevant international user forums; technical workshops; stakeholders' international meeting (e.g. ICAO, IMO) and other events (including representation of the interests of European GNSS programmes in events organised by international organisation, and support to the participation of regional delegates),

— performing economic analyses and implementing international promotion activities bearing on the use of satellite navigation for different categories of users and in various regions of the world, and targeting aviation, land management, and other transport modes (including maritime surveillance, port security, road and rail infrastructure),

— setting up and managing expert advisory groups for sectoral regional activities,

— support research and EU industrial policy in GNSS in third countries not yet covered by awareness and promotion activities on downstream applications, in particular in regulated domains.
