The target of the procurement is taxi rides of the Finnish Immigration Service in Uusimaa and individual taxi rides to nearby regions.

The taxi services to be procured are related to arranging transports for applicants for and beneficiaries of international and temporary protection to reception centres located in Uusimaa or nearby cities. Most of the transfers depart from the port, airport or reception centre or police station in Uusimaa.

The number of taxi rides varies from week to week and depends on the number of future applicants for international protection, variations in the number of applicants can vary greatly.

According to the situation in the early part of the year (January to August) 2022, the volumes of transports were, on average, 15 trips/week and were divided as follows:

-Mon-Sat 07-18 – 70%

-Mon-Sat 18-06 – 20%

-sun and saints – 10%

Taxi rides must also allow the transport of domestic animals, the use of car seats and the transport of disabled taxis.

The Supplier offers at least one alternative form of ordering that does not incur any costs for the Customer. Ordering is agreed with the service provider separately
