The Hans Furler Gymnasium Oberkirch is the largest school in the large district town of Oberkirch. The school building, which was built in reinforced concrete frame construction in the mid-1970s, is to be comprehensively renovated in several successive construction phases to meet the requirements of a modern educational institution. The structural modernization includes both the complete interior renovation (incl. building services), as well as energetic refurbishment in the KfW 70 standard. This is carried out simultaneously in compliance with school operations.
The tendered services include the installation of wood-aluminium windows and wood-aluminium
French doors as well as the installation of aluminium external venetian blinds. Furthermore, to a small extent, the assembly
of all-glass balustrades in front of floor-to-ceiling window elements. The contract also includes
in advance, the complete dismantling and disposal of all existing windows and French doors as well as
the associated stock venetian blinds.
In the course of dismantling, the demolition and disposal of asbestos-containing
Fibre cement panels (fillings of the parapets of the existing windows) according to TRGS 519

- approx. 740 m2 dismantling + disposal of wood-aluminium windows (existing building)
- approx. 740 m2 dismantling of aluminium external venetian blinds (existing building)
- approx. 100 m2 dismantling of asbestos-containing fibre cement parapet panels
- approx. 650 m2 new installation of wood-aluminium windows
- approx. 60 m2 new installation of aluminium external venetian blinds
- approx. 30 m2 all-glass fall protection in the parapet area of floor-to-ceiling wood – aluminium
