Support in the implementation of dynamic driving tests for active vehicle safety

The future contractor (contractor) supports BASt as client (client) in the preparation, implementation, follow-up and evaluation of vehicle tests, in particular tests within the framework of the "Euro NCAP" consumer protection programme. The driving tests here concern tests to evaluate the area of active vehicle safety.

As a rule, the task consists of the complete completion of tests or partial tests from the Euro NCAP Active Vehicle Safety test program. The complete completion of a test or partial test can extend over several test weeks. The Euro NCAP test programme currently includes the following sub-tests:

- AEB VRU (test of emergency braking assistance for accidents with vulnerable road users, such as pedestrians, cyclists or motorcyclists)

- AEB Car-to-Car (test of emergency braking assistance for vehicle-to-vehicle accidents)

- LSS (Test von Fahrstreifenassistenz)

- SAS (Test of Speed Assistance)

Depending on the equipment of the vehicle to be tested by the manufacturer, not every scenario is tested for every vehicle.
