TT is facilitated transport for persons who cannot utilise other public transport. The aim of implementing the TT service is to ensure the transportation needs of TT users in accordance with the given regulations and rules This includes the necessary assistance and facilitation so that TT users shall have their transport needs covered.
The transport service shall be performed in a user-friendly, secure and cost-effective manner. The TT scheme is politically controlled and changes can occur due to political decisions.
The assignment comprises:
- User register;
- Ordering system;
- Planning service;
- Card service;
- Card production.
The scope of travel to be administered and the number of cards that shall be produced is controlled by the demand.
Oslo kommune shall have user access to the user register and trip register.
The Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration has a contract with Samres AB until 31.6.2018. The service has the following main functions:
- ordering system for a coordinated taxi and special vehicle transport,
- planning service for coordinated taxi and special vehicle transport,
- production of TT card and operation of the card service, and
- operation of the user register.
Kjørekontoret’s ordering system receives and registers orders from the TT users for special vehicle transport and coordinated taxi. Kjørekontoret plans and manages the number of hours for special vehicle transport, and travel plans with a coordinated taxi.
The users tend to order regular trips for longer periods. Leisure trips with special vehicles are generally orders close to the time of travel. In some circumstances, this can also apply to regular trips. When ordering, TT users or others who act on behalf of the TT users, provide information about the loading and unloading locations, the loading and unloading times as well as the service needs. Kjørekontoret is open 24 hours a day.
