The X-SPEC beamline will be a soft and medium hard x-ray undulator beamline at the ANKA synchrotron radiation facility in Karlsruhe that offers a wide energy range from 80 eV up to 15 keV. The subject of this call is to provide the front-end components and beamline optics as a complete system. The wide energy range requires the use of separate monochromators (one double crystal monochromator and one plane grating monochromator) and mirror focusing optics. The beamline will be able to focus photons of the full energy range on the same spots in both of the two endstations.
