During 2023–2024, the City of Helsinki Rescue Department will acquire thermal imaging cameras for demanding professional use in varying fire and rescue operating environments, such as smoke diving. The estimated total amount of the procurement is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 35 thermal imaging cameras and related accessories such as batteries, chargers, mounting system and vehicle mounts. In addition, 14 table chargers will be purchased for rescue stations.

During 2023–2024, the City of Helsinki Rescue Department will acquire thermal imaging cameras for demanding professional use in varying fire and rescue operating environments within the limits of the appropriations. Thermal imaging cameras are part of the fleet of rescue vehicles. The thermal imaging cameras to be procured are targeted at equipping new units and updating existing equipment to ensure a uniform equipment base. Thermal imaging cameras are used, among other things, as an aid in extinguishing fires and smoke diving, and the thermal imaging camera provided must be adapted to the intended purpose.

The estimated total amount of the procurement is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 35 thermal imaging cameras and related accessories such as thermal imaging camera batteries, battery chargers, vehicle mounts, as well as mounting straps and retractable cables for the thermal imager to attach the thermal imaging camera to the shoulder strap of the smoke diver's compressed air device. In addition, 14 table chargers will be purchased for rescue stations.

This contract is not subdivided into lots because the contract forms a single whole and the division of the contract into lots may result in incompatibility between the different parts of the subdivided contract.

The Provider may offer an optional maintenance contract for 5-year purchase of cameras, camera mounts and chargers. In addition to the price, the tenderer must describe the content of the maintenance contract and the estimated average maintenance times of the service object. The contracting entity decides whether or not to exercise the option.
