The service consists in the verification activity, pursuant to art. 26 of Legislative Decree 50/2016, of the preliminary, definitive and executive projects for which the Contracting Administration will require them to be carried out. The projects to be verified concern the provincial and regional road network of competence, cycle and pedestrian paths, administrated buildings, headquarters of the Administration and school buildings and may concern ordinary, extraordinary maintenance or the design of new infrastructures. The verification must be carried out on the design documentation, with reference to the check of reliability, completeness and adequacy, readability, consistency, practicability and compliance of projects. The verification must be carried out on all the project documents and not “sample”. The conclusion of the assignment must be formalized by means of a “Final Report” which summarizes the result of the evaluations.

The verification must be carried out on all the project documents and not “sample”. The verification activities carried out must be given evidence through analytical reports and the conclusion of the assignment must be formalized by means of a “Concluding Report” that expresses briefly the result of analytical evaluations. Table 1 of the Elaboration A) shows the list of the nature and extent of the services requested as reported in Table Z-1 of Ministerial Decree 17/06/2016 relating to the category of work and the corresponding classes and categories pursuant to L. 143/49 and DM 18/11/1971 with the relative amounts concerning the projects to be verified. The total amount of the works to be verified must be understood as indicative, both as regards the total of the works to be verified and as regards the division of the individual classes and categories above indicated.
The verification activities must be carried out through the use of professional profiles covering different disciplines, the minimum figures required will therefore be:
1. Facilities expert;
2. Viability expert;
3. Expert in electrical and special systems;
4. Geology expert;
5. Expert in budgeting;
6. Security expert; for a total of 6 distinct natural persons. The working group will then have to provide for further expert roles:
7. Technical Coordinator;
8. Expert in mechanical, plumbing and fire-fighting systems;
9. Geotechnics expert;
10. Expert in hydraulics;
11. An expert in architecture. These figures can also be covered by the professionals mentioned in the first list.
The verification group must be coordinated by a specific figure called the Technical Coordinator.
