The district of Kitzingen, as the material expense carrier of the health department for the district of Kitzingen, procures project management and IT project management, as well as consulting services by way of a framework agreement for the implementation of the "Digital Health Office 2025" funding program.
The district of Kitzingen is responsible for material expenses of the state health department for the city and district of Kitzingen as the lower health authority. In order to remedy the deficiencies in the digitalisation of the public health system that were uncovered in the wake of the Corona pandemic, the federal government has launched the extensive "Digital Health Office 2025" funding programme. The district of Kitzingen has applied for funding from this funding programme and received a grant notification for funding.
The district of Kitzingen is looking for a partner to support and implement the funding programme. As a first step, it has commissioned a digitalization strategy, which is now to be implemented in the further course. On the basis of the digitalisation strategy that has been drawn up, the partner is to accompany the health department in an advisory capacity in the implementation of the funding programme until its completion (preparation of the proof of use). The district of Kitzingen does not have an internal digitisation manager, which is why the district is now awarding personnel funds provided for this purpose to the partner as part of a service contract. In order to implement the funding program, various consulting services are required, which include project management of the entire funding project, process documentation, employee participation and the implementation of training courses, the creation of a data security and data retention concept, IT security consulting and support from software development to a media discontinuity-free data stream.
