The Material Distribution Plan of the Utrecht Safety Region includes one foam extinguishing vehicle. This vehicle is due for regular replacement in 2025. In addition, the rules regarding the use of foam will also change as of 2025. Currently, fluorinated foam is used in the current foam extinguishing vehicle, but from 2025 this will no longer be permitted due to environmental damage. These two points give reason to start with the replacement of the foam extinguishing vehicle.

The Contracting Authority applies a ceiling amount of € 1,030,000 for the initial purchase,-- including VAT.
