The health company currently has 2 MR machines at Ålesund Hospital. One of the current MR machines is placed in the same building as the company administration; outside the hospital building. This MR machine is 12 years old and we would like to replace it with a new 1.5 Tesla MR close to the existing MR machine at the hospital. The new installation shall be placed so that we can get the best possible interaction effect with the existing manoeuver room, examination room and patient preparation/waiting area. In this way we will establish an appropriate and efficient MR lab with 2 available MR machines. The engineering design services and the necessary constructional adaptations have not been completed.

Particular attention is drawn to the fact that the contracting authority will reject all the tenders if the MR procurement and the necessary constructional adaptations are not fully financed.
