There is also an option linked to tender areas 1-3 regarding pick-up and delivery of grocery bags (online grocery purchases from grocery stores) to care recipients' homes.
1 agreement area for canteen transports Hot and cold food transports that take place from school kitchens and central kitchens to the client's various units, including return transports of packaging, etc. This agreement area also applies to the Kalmarsund Upper Secondary School Association.
The customer estimates the total purchase volume per year at SEK 6,500,000.

The procurement document names Kalmar Municipality as “The Order” and the bidder as “The Supplier”.

Extent
The customer intends to procure food transports as follows. The procurement is divided into the following four (4) tender areas. The supplier is free to submit tenders in one or more tender areas.
Refrigerated food transports, area ALeence of ready-made chilled food in single-portion molds from the central kitchen on St. Kristoffer's road to care recipients in their own homes in area A.
Refrigerated food transports, area BLeverance of ready-made chilled food in single-portion molds from the central kitchen on St. Kristoffer's road to care recipients in their own homes in area B.
Refrigerated food transports, area CLdelivery of ready-made chilled food in single-portion molds from the central kitchen on St. Kristoffer's road to care recipients in their own homes in area C.
Hot and cold food transports that take place from school kitchens and the central kitchens S:t Kristoffers väg, Stensberg and Enliden to the client's various units, including return transports of packaging, etc., according to Appendix 3. List of tender prices. This agreement area also applies to the Kalmarsund Upper Secondary School Association (GYF). The need for food transport for GAR has the same conditions as above but is based on their own kitchen and premises.
For the supplier's knowledge, parts of the customer's food transports are carried out via internal operations. These food transports are currently not included in tender areas 1-4 above, but transports may be added during the contract period.

The customer estimates the total purchase volume per year at SEK 6,500,000. The ceiling volume for framework agreements is SEK 30 million for the total contract period. The framework agreement ceases to apply if the ordered volume exceeds the ceiling amount. However, the framework agreement is still applicable to call-offs made or in progress.
However, the customer does not undertake to call off a certain quantity, but the assumed supplier is obliged to supply the customer's real needs.
Option for tender areas 1-3: Chilled food transports
One of the food transports that the customer currently manages under their own auspices relates to the collection and delivery of grocery bags (online grocery purchases from grocery stores) to the care recipient's home. Today, it is a matter of transports to about 1000 care recipients per month.
Throughout the contract period, the client shall have the opportunity to call off this service from each tender area 1-3: Chilled food transports via an option. In the event of an exercise of the option, the client allocates the transports by area A-C (defined in Appendix 5. Refrigerated food transports).
The supplier must be able to provide the client with the service no later than 3 months from the date on which the request to exercise the option is announced. Current routines for pick-up and drop-off are obtained when exercising the option.
When exercising the option, the supplier receives compensation with a fixed price per stop (includes 1-2 grocery bags) and a fixed price per extra grocery bag (charged to the customer for more than 2 grocery bags). The supplier shall in Appendix 5. Price list Refrigerated food transports, enter a fixed price per stop per area, as well as a price per extra bag of groceries.
