The New Jordal Amfi shall be an ice rink for elite and amateur ice hockey in Oslo. The rink shall be constructed where the current Jordal Amfi is located and it is to be designed as a modern ice rink with areas for the public, daily operation, catering, meetings, other sports functions and media.

Outdoor areas around the ice rink are also included in the procurement. This includes the entrance areas for the public, bicycle parking, footpaths and green areas.

The actual shell shall be passive house standard. The ice rink is otherwise planned with several measures that ensure energy efficient operation. This particularly applies to the process plant for dehumidification, ventilation, heating and cooling of the actual ice rink room.
