Newcastle City Council acted as Lead Authority on behalf of the North East Purchasing Organisation (NEPO) and it member Authorities to procure and establish a contract for the delivery of an online research and information tool (the Contract) to be used predominately by Adults and Childrens Social Care Professionals. The tool must be adaptable to ensure it is able to adapt and keep up with advances in technology that may happen during the lift of the Framework Agreement.

This Social Care Research and Information Tool will allow the Participating Authorities listed to access a range of research and information including:

a) research,

b) information,

c) example case studies,

d) tailored learning and development,

c) training.

Bespoke to Adults and Childrens Social Care topics via access to the online tool under an unlimited licence model.

The contract term will be 24 months with 2 x 12 month options to extend.
