The City of Jyväskylä's Streets and Parks service area requests your offer for loading and transporting snow to snow reception sites and for the maintenance of snow reception sites.

Snow reception sites are located in Mustankorkea, Noseinniemi (Raivionsuntti), Tikkakoski and Korpilahti. The reception points are set out in the annex to the invitation to tender. The maintenance of the snow reception sites in Tikkakoski and Korpilahti is not included in this tendering process. The snow reception site in Halssila is only used by the city's own production.

This is an open procurement procedure.

Tasks:

Loading and transportation of snow from heaps; The work includes loading and driving snow from the finished piles to the snow collection site. The amount driven has varied from 0 to 30,000 m3/winter season. The average driving distance to the snow collection site is 5–7 km.

Loading and transportation of snow from the plow; The work includes snow/polante collection as well as loading and driving to the snow reception site. The amount driven has varied from 0 to 120,000 m3/winter season. The average driving distance to the snow collection site is 5–7 km.

The Contractor is obliged to notify the Contracting entity's on-call operator if slippery spots form on the snow drifting sites during the loading machine's work. The client arranges anti-slipperiness for the site.

The contractor is responsible for ensuring that no icy stuff falls on the fairways during loading and driving, which poses a danger to other traffic.

The maintenance of the snow reception site includes the maintenance of the reception area (ploughing, anti-slipperiness, freezing of the bank, removal of snow from the bench), instructing snow drivers if necessary, and monitoring the condition of the dump site. The load-bearing capacity of the dump site is mainly ensured by freezing the area.
