The subject of the award is the new development and subsequent maintenance of a standardized gun management software, which can then be used by the client and the client's gun services (in particular, gun officers Mellrichstadt and Munich) to perform official tasks in the sovereign and private law area.

The bombardment offices are responsible for the sovereign activity of arms, ammunition and firecracker testing as a sovereign task. In addition, the fire departments also carry out private law tasks in the field of testing, among other things, anti-attack protective materials. To fulfill these tasks, the fire departments have so far used specially developed PC software. Modules of this software include order management, test equipment management, output of test protocols, certificates and test reports, documentation of test processes and invoicing as well as an interface to the state treasury.

The software to be procured is to replace this existing software.
