Alver, Aurland, Austrheim, Austevoll, Fedje, Gulene, Masfjorden, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, Vaksdal Municipalities have established a joint ICT operation company, IKT Nordhordland kommunalt oppgåvefellesskap (IKTNH).

IKTNH will hold a tender contest for telephony systems in 2022.

IKTNH currently has a telephony contract that will expire on 1 July 2022, and has implemented a cloud-based telephone exchange in all municipalities.

The deliveries include IP telephony, mobile telephony, Mobile Data Access (MDA), telephone exchange functionality, administration systems, SIP trunk, and IP VPN.

It is important that the suppliers of the chosen services can offer stable and predictable services, as well as good reporting routines, and an overview of the municipalities' use of the tele network.

In the new contract, the municipalities will have an increased degree of ring tone in Teams, start to use the One Number principle to a greater degree/completely, and look at clear, structured ways of processing function users versus personal users.
