The Geological Survey of Norway (NGU) invites bids with negotiation for the provision of cleaning services. NGU requests bids for of in-house cleaning services covering:
a. Office cleaning services.
b. Plants upkeep services.
c. Sanitary articles: hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and all similar products.
d. Windows cleaning.
The contract's purpose is primarily to meet the daily needs for cleaning (including matte changes) and main cleaning, including interior window washing, in the NGU building located in Lade, Trondheim, in Sør-Trøndelag.
The total cleaning area represents approximately 10,760 sqm.
The procurement of cleaning services should take place from 7.1.2014 to 30.6 2016. The contract will last for a period of two years with a possibility of two optional extensions of one year each (2 + 1 + 1).
A signed and dated bid should be delivered in a neutral, sealed envelope clearly marked “Tender, Cleaning Services 2014“. A digital copy of the tender is also attached on a memory stick in pdf format or Word.
Bidders are encouraged to submit a censored version of the offer in PDF format on CD or on a memory stick that can be distributed to other bidders upon request without damaging any business sensitive information.
Late bids will be rejected.
Contract award criteria when selecting the supplier (in priority order):
a. Price.
b. Quality and environmental management.
c. Competence, experience and references.
NGU reserves the right to reject all offers or part of the bids or to go into further negotiations for the selection of the most responsive supplier (s). NGU reserves the right to go out with further price quotations depending the bids‘ size, scope and funding availability.
Electronic invoice:
NGU requires that suppliers of goods and services send invoices and credit notes electronically in accordance with the 'Elektronisk handelsformat' (EHF).
NGU uses the 'General terms of procurement for government purchases of merchandises. (AIS-89).

Bids documents are drawn up in the Norwegian and English languages. Incomplete or erroneous bid is the bidder's responsibility and it will be rejected.
Expected bidders are encouraged to participate in the on-site visit on 29.4.2014 at. 13:00 on NGU.
