Billund Airport A/S offers a contract for building cleaning and a few other soft facility management services at Billund Airport. The task consists of the following sub-services:

- Daily and periodic cleaning

- Mat and linen service

- Window polishing

The assignments cover a number of properties located on or in connection with Billund Airport's land area. The largest part of the task will be solved in connection with the Terminal Building. At the time of the tender, the area is approximately 45,000 m2.

A central part of the task will be the cleanliness of areas frequented by passengers, including shopping areas, toilets, etc. The assignment also includes classic office areas used by employees at Billund Airport, storage facilities, etc. As it is an airport, there will be special rules regarding security that the supplier must comply with.

Billund Airport is Denmark's second largest airport. The responsibility for building cleaning and aircraft cleaning has previously been solved by an independent handling company owned by Billund Airport and by external suppliers. In order to be better able to deliver focused quality in both buildings and aircraft, we are looking for a supplier who will service a large part of the building stock.

The supplier will be responsible for a large part of the building cleaning in both the central terminal building, but also in a small number of other properties in and around Billund Airport. There are both landside and airside tasks for Billund Airport and for partners located in properties related to the airport.

The task is characterized by having to be solved with respect for the fluctuations in guests who are at the airport. Depending on air traffic, holiday periods, daily rhythms and guest behaviour, the load on the areas covered will be different from day to day. There are special requirements for security of goods and personal access.

The handling company, which is owned by Billund Airport, will continue to carry out aircraft cleaning and cleaning of certain areas in the terminal, which are mainly in connection with the areas close to the aircraft. However, it may be the case that the supplier will have to assist the handling company with aircraft cleaning during peak periods
