The subject matter of the award procedure is the award of residential building insurance for the policyholder's building stock in accordance with the minimum insurance conditions provided during the offer phase.
The insurance cover must cover damage caused by the risk groups fire, tap water, fuels, storm/hail, loss of keys, vandalism, natural hazards, special hazards (civil unrest, strike, lockout, vehicle collision, smoke, sonic boom) and glass breakage for general glazing in accordance with the minimum insurance conditions.
During the contract period, the client/policyholder shall report the risks existing on January 1st of each year, i.e. the existing buildings with the residential and commercial units and garages, by February 15 of each year.
New properties added during the year due to new construction, acquisition or in any other way are generally also insured even without notification to the inventory list; as well as erroneously undetected objects. Until notification to the insurer, the maximum compensation per claim for newly added properties and objects that are not recorded in error is € 15,000,000.
