Reconstruction of the stations for the project "The 800" - installation of platform elevations

Getting on and off the tram is not always at ground level or stepless.

Jenaer Nahverkehr GmbH therefore intends to equip several tram stops with a total of 66 partial platform elevations from March 2023 to October 2023.

The partial platform elevation is intended as an boarding aid at these tram stops, due to the necessary platform height of 250 mm above the top of the rail, in the area of the first palanquin after the leading driver's cab of the tram. This enables barrier-free boarding in accordance with DIN 18040-3 in the tram.
