Staffordshire Moorlands District Council (SMDC) is inviting tenders from professional and suitably qualified organisations to provide logistics support services as main contractor for the Council's outdoor regular markets held in Leek and Cheadle and various locations within the region when required. This opportunity is for a fixed term agreement solely for the provision of support services for the storage, delivery, set up, dismantle and maintenance of Council owned market equipment and Pop Up stalls to support the Council's outdoor markets operation.
This is being conducted as an open tender procedure to appoint a compliant contractor to provide cost effective logistic support services for Council owned outdoor market stalls and associated equipment to support Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.
The Council currently has an asset list of 60 pop up market stalls procured in 2013 in addition to this, example equipment comprises of tables, PVC back and side screening, rain water management systems and weights:
— services for this contract include but are not limited to the following:
—— storage and transportation of Council owned market equipment,
—— delivery of required equipment for market,
—— set up and dismantle of Stalls and associated equipment,
—— secure storage and required repairs and maintenance of equipment.
