Bodø kommune (Bodø Municipality) (BK) shall build a Competition Pool, Bodø Spektrum. The project includes a new building with a competition pool and relatively extensive reconstruction of the existing bathing facility. The existing facilities and new facilities shall appear and be operated as one facility when completed. There is a great focus on energy saving, and the goal is for the new facility as a whole to use less energy than the current bathing facility does alone before the reconstruction. The City Council has given Bodø Spektrum the assignment of implementing this project in close collaboration with Bodø municipality.
