The objective of the contract is to gain access to a group of people with extensive expertise in mining pollution, who can contribute with specific professional assistance in the work of preparing details of the Comprehensive Action Plan for Folldal Mines

On behalf of NFD, DMF manages 15 reclaimed mines, including properties and mining rooms at Folldal mines. The remnants of the mining operation pollute the area and Folla river at the bottom of the valley. The land owner, NFD received an order from the environmental authorities to carry out measures with the purpose of reducing pollution. DMF has been delegated the assignment of fulfilling the order. A comprehensive plan has been prepared in 2021 for pollution reduction measures at Folldal mines.

There is a need for preparing details of the comprehensive plan and the objective of the contract is to gain access to a group of people with extensive expertise in mining pollution work, who can contribute with specific professional assistance.
