The Swedish Chemicals Agency intends to procure chemical analyses of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in different types of materials, with low detection limits.

This procurement concerns chemical analyses of articles. Articles are defined as objects which, during production, is given a specific shape, surface or design which determines their function to a greater extent than their chemical composition. The analyses of articles cover mainly paper and cardboard, but other materials such as metal, silicone and other polymer material may also occur, as well as semi-finished products.

The Framework Agreement sets out the terms and conditions for future procurement of chemical analyses to be assigned over a given time period.

The absolute maximum volume is 200 articles that will be tested during 2023.

For the forthcoming years the absolute maximum volume is 500 articles per year. The Swedish Chemicals Agency cannot guarantee any volumes and the estimate of the volume of the procurement is only a guide to facilitate for the tenderers.
