1. The subject of the contract is the delivery of two pieces of brand new dual-drive (diesel-electric) multiple units in two types to service rail passenger transport in regional traffic. The description of the subject of the contract contains a set of technical requirements for two-drive multiple units powered from the 3 kV DC overhead contact line and internal combustion engines meeting the STAGE V emission requirements in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 September 2016, as amended. The vehicles will be designed to serve electrified and non-electrified railway lines on a track with a width of 1435 mm. 2. Detailed requirements of the Ordering Party regarding the Subject of the Agreement are included in the Description of the Subject of the Order (hereinafter referred to as OPZ), constituting Annex No. 1 to the SWZ.
