Häme University of Applied Sciences is asking for tenders for the Smart Bio construction project.

The project includes the construction of a new building serving the education and research of biotechnology and food technology at Häme University of Applied Sciences on plot 109–20-153-1 at Visakaarre 7 13100 Hämeenlinna. The scope of the project is approximately 1800 m2. The temporal objectives of the contract are set out in the documents attached to the invitation to tender.

The project will be implemented as a shared contract according to the plans commissioned by the client, in which the contractors have a direct contractual relationship with the client. A building contractor is a general contractor who is responsible for site management responsibilities and coordinates construction through subordination agreements.

The invitation to tender is divided into four parts:

1. Construction work (main work)

2. Pipe chore

3. Sähköurakka

4. Ilmanvaihtourakka

The tenderer may offer to the parts of his choice.

According to the preliminary schedule, work should begin in July 2023. The project must be completed and approved by 15.11.2024.

Implementation of a pipe contract as part of the Smart Bio construction contract as a side contract. The plans related to the contract are attached to the invitation to tender.

Implementation of an electrical contract that is part of the Smart Bio construction contract as a side contract. The plans related to the contract are attached to the invitation to tender.

Implementation of the ventilation contract, which is part of the Smart Bio construction contract, as a side contract. The plans related to the contract are attached to the invitation to tender.
