Bioforsk is a research institute with expertise at a high international level within agriculture, food production, plant health, the environment and resource management. Bioforsk also focuses on research based innovation and value creation. Sustainable resource use is a fundamental premise. Bioforsk has seven research centres with approx. 450 employees and departments nationwide. Bioforsk, hereafter called the Contracting Authority, is organised under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (LMD) as an administrative body with special authority.

Bioforsk operates two canteens at Ås in Akershus. Bioforsk would like to enter into a framework agreement for all procurements of fruit and vegetables for the operation of the canteens. The canteens have slightly different requirements, but it has been decided to run this as a single procurement. Tenderer must be a full-range supplier for this type of delivery, and shall have a broad product range to offer the Contracting Authority.
