The contest is for a framework agreement for operational leasing, i.e., vehicles with financing in the form of leasing.

The main purpose of this procurement is to cover the Norwegian Coastal Administration's need for leasing vehicles and vehicle fleet administration with associated services.

The tenderer will take on the total administration of the vehicle fleet of the Norwegian Coastal Administration.

This means carrying out assignments and offering services that cover all parts of vehicle management.

The total value of the procurement is estimated to be NOK 12,000,000 excluding VAT per year.

The maximum value for the entire contract period, including any options and expected price increase is: NOK 40,000,000 excluding VAT.

The need is uncertain.

Questions will not be answered in the period 20.12.23 - 02.01.2024 due to staff holidays and the Christmas period.

This lot is for the Pilot Service.

The Pilot Service carries out approx. 40,000 assignments a year and has 7 master ship pilot crews with 25 pilot stations in Norway, from Svinesund to Grense Jakobselv.

The service is operative and available 24 hours a day, year round.

The Pilot Service contributes to safe traffic at sea and protects the environment by giving the vessel's crew necessary knowledge on the fairway.

The pilot is the captain's nautical guide in navigation and manoeuvring. Even if the pilot now has access to ever more advanced digital tools, it is still competence in the fairway and coast, weather conditions, and sailing routines that is the main product that is offered by the pilot and the Norwegian Coastal Administration.

The pilot service is the easiest and many the best preventive maritime safety measure for avoiding accidents at sea.
