Hamarøy municipality is planning the construction of new sheltered accommodation flats at Oppeid. The project consists of a main building with 16 sheltered accommodation flats, communal areas and areas for staff and the home care service. Associated outdoor areas are planned on the west and south sides of the new building. Parking is planned in the existing parking lot on the northwest side of the project. The current four flats on the east side of the nursing home shall be demolished and new parking lots and a new grid station are being planned on the site.
