The Bertolt-Brecht-Schule Darmstadt is to become a modern, innovative, energy-optimised building. For a technically flawless and safe operation, it is absolutely necessary to equip the building with state-of-the-art electrotechnical systems.
Object of performance:
- Planning includes: the complete emergency lighting system including the central battery system, the entire cabling partly in functional state F30 and all emergency luminaires
- New medium-voltage switchgear in the form of a compact station 20kV/400V with a transformer. This transformer station continues to supply: Morgensternschule, Adelung-Schule and Rollsporthall
- Central battery system to supply and ensure compliance with all requirements according to DIN EN 1838 and BGR 216 of the necessary and required emergency lighting
- The central battery system including the batteries is located in its own operating room in the basement of the main building
- The BBS Darmstadt site receives a new NSHV as the main distribution point in the new building in the basement
- For emergency power supply via a portable replacement generator, an additional emergency power supply is carried out by means of mechanical and electrical control. All outlets are equipped with NH switch-disconnectors in plug-in technology
- For metrological recording, a multi-measuring device is installed in the distributor feed. All measured values are managed via interface via bus and can be transferred to the higher-level building management system. The multimeter has an electronic meter display for displaying U/I/F/cosw/P/S/Q/W, a network analysis acquisition and an internal memory
- Cables and wires for general power supply, emergency lighting and telecommunications and information technology systems are each routed in separate cable trays
- The building receives a potential/protection equipotential bonding in accordance with parts 200, 410 and 540 of DIN VDE 0100. All installation devices are labeled according to their assignment via an integrated labeling field.
- All rooms will be equipped with lighting fixtures adapted to the use of the room. The lighting is designed according to the guidelines of ASR 7/3, AMERV, DIN 5035, EN 1883 and DIN EN 12464.
- All luminaires are equipped with an electronic ballast (ECG) if not technically possible. In order to adapt the lighting to the use of the room and for daylight-dependent control, some of the luminaires are dimmable.
- All dimmable luminaires are equipped with a DALI ECG and are controlled by the building system technology via a DALI gateway. All luminaires are equipped with LED bulbs.
Three lighting levels (0.50 and 200 lux) are planned, which are implemented depending on the time of day and presence:
-During operating times without presence detection: 50 lux
-During operating hours with presence detection: 200 lux
-Out of operating hours "Off": 0 lux
-Out of operating hours with presence detection: 200 lux
The control is implemented by means of KNX timer, KNX presence detectors in the relevant corridor sections, KNX DALI gateways and luminaires with DALI controllable ECGs.
- All premises that are only used for a short time, if technically and economically reasonable, are equipped with conventional presence detectors
- Toilet rooms receive luminaires with integrated RF presence detection sensors
- The lighting in classrooms is switched with presence detectors, motion- and daylight-dependent constant light control and in parallel by hand
- The room and blackboard lighting are always switched on separately by hand. Switching off is done manually or after 10 minutes without presence in the room.
- If the proportion of daylight becomes too high, constant light control automatically dimms to the target level
- The required emergency lighting is ensured by central battery-powered LED lights
