Service as general planner for the project "Baulose 70-73 - Barrier-free conversion of the Stadtbahn stops and access buildings Kohlgartenstraße, Voßkuhle, Lübkestraße, Max-Eyth-Straße and Stadtkrone Ost" in the service portrayals of traffic facilities, engineering structures, structural design, open spaces and technical equipment.

The stock is the light rail line 82 from the stop Kohlgartenstr. extended to the station Stadtkrone Ost for the use of the B-car. The platform height in this section is 38 cm above sea level. SO.

Due to the PBefG, there is a requirement that the accessibility in public transport in Germany should be as complete as possible by 1.1.2022. The vehicle concept of the railway operator DSW21 envisages the use of barrier-free stops from the year 2023 onwards. In this context, the planning for the production of accessibility including access facilities at the 5 inventory stops Kohlgartenstr., Voßkuhle, Lübkestr., Max-Eyth-Str. and City Crown East in the middle of the B1.

The redesign of the railway facilities and the new bridge are to be coordinated with each other in design and construction.

The estimated total investment volume of the construction project, including the planning costs, amounts to EUR 32.2 million.

As part of the preliminary planning, preferred variants were already applied, assessed and approved by the City of Dortmund Council on 13.12.2018.

The following concept is therefore based on:

The light rail is largely maintained outside the stops areas. In the area of the stops, only the widening of the tracks takes place to produce the middle platforms.

Kohlgartenstr .: Seitenbahnsteige with south elevator and north stairs

Voßkuhle / Lübkestr .: Central platform

Max-Eyth-Str./Stadtkrone Ost: Central platform with lift and stairs

The new construction of the Stadtbahn stops should preferably in modular construction and prefabricated elements with a platform height of 94 cm above sea level. Including operating equipment, taking into account expert advice - on the technical feasibility of special stop solutions with reduced intervention in the trees.

Required track laying is required with adaptation of the catenary system while maintaining the operation of the track 82 and the existing access roads.

A reconstruction or new construction of the bridge structures, including the ramp and stair structures, is necessary for the redesign of the access to the city railway stops:

Kohlgartenstr./Stadtkrone Ost:

- demolition and replacement of the access bridge,

- Green Planning Park northern access (Stadtkrone Ost).

Voßkuhle: - height-equal access,

Lübkestr .: - demolition of the existing bridge,

Max-Eyth-Str .: - Expert opinion for consideration new or remodeling.

- further planning in accordance with the weighing result.

The construction of 2 bridges (Kohlgartenstr./Max-Eyth-Str.) Is still under resolution.

Bridges and ramps are to be integrated uniformly and harmoniously into the overall area B1.

Conversion and adaptations of the catenary system are required in terms of over-planning for the actual conversion of the entire route. Kettenwerke from Hst. Hauptfriedhof to the ramp Kohlgartenstr. are to revise.

Due to the changes in the track layouts, a reconstruction or partial rebuilding of the overhead contact line system is required. For this purpose, height gradients and track change options for the accident case with their switch arrangements and track crossings must be taken into account.

Requirements due to the amended DIN EN 50119 and the technical supervisory authority are to be observed. The provision of a verifiable static calculation of the mast locations, if necessary. with cross check by a test person is required. Particularity of the driving and overhead line construction with clamped ground conditions is to be considered.

Mast foundation by means of bored pile method has prevailed. Entities on which a block foundation is to be established are to be economically offset.

The entire construction project must be carried out "under operation" (public transport and IV), which must also be taken into account when constructing bridge structures.
