Alexandre Herlin Institute welcomes students with moderate mental impairment (type 2), visually impaired (type 6), hearing impairment (type 7), dysphasic (type 7Days) students. Primary education also accommodates children with type 8 disabilities (instrumental disorders).

In integration, it also supports students who continue to attend classes or some of them in regular education.

This extension project of +/- 5,900 m² mainly includes:

- Extension of the basic school to accommodate an additional 200 pupils in basic education (kindergarten and primary) mainly type 2 (polyhandicaps).

- Demolition of annexes between the main building and the sports hall

- Construction of a new gym, kitchen and restaurant to offer modern infrastructure meeting all safety and hygiene standards adapted to the special education public

- The development of playgrounds and playgrounds in accordance with the different age groups of the welcomed public

- The development of a road for buses allowing travel for children

- Landscaped gardens between the road and the playground

This work contract consists of 2 separate lots:

• Lot 1 “Cartwork, Completions, Technical Installations, Approaches”

• Lot 2: Elevator

The Bidder's attention is also drawn to the fact that the campus will be in operation during the completion of the work.

Expectations for the contractor who will perform the work include:

• be attentive during the construction site, hence the maximum limitation of all nuisances

• be very attentive to safety by not leaving gear accessible, by closing properly

access to the site

• well partition construction site and caulk to limit dust dispersion

• leave the site manager's telephone number to management
