Description:

Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a District Heating Mains Replacement System.

The initial requirement is to supply flow and return pipework from Bdg 13 boiler house into Bdg 15 to allow heating to be provided. A breakdown of the requirement is as follows:

— First Financial Year — Bdg 13 to 15 — This requires new 150 mm steel ducting to be installed internally within the North Western wall across the entire stretch of the building from the boiler house to the diesel support tanks. This will require new pumps to be installed due to the lengths involved. An option, depending on cost is to then duct either underground or via gantry between Bdg 13 and 15. This will then be joined into the existing air handling unit on the Eastern corner of Bdg 15.

— Potential Future Works — There is a future requirement over the coming years to fully decommission the main boiler house. There is therefore a requirement to provide heating solutions for Various Buildings.
