According to the school development plan, the city of Hanau is planning to expand the Hessen-Homburg school centre into a 9-speed cooperative comprehensive school in Hanau's inner city district of Lamboy. The new building serves as an extension of the Hauptschule and Realschule and for the redesign of a gymnasium upper school.

On the school property, which covers a total of more than 15,900 m², the new structure is to be inserted in the defined area between the two existing school buildings. The timber-framed construction with approx. 7,600m² gross floor area will be carried out in four-storey solid construction and comprises 45 classrooms. The building must be constructed barrier-free.

The planning services HLS include:

-Drinking water:

Design as cold water system, ensuring drinking water hygiene by means of flushing devices. Hot water (e.g. medical room/kitchen) decentrally by means of instantaneous water heaters or fresh water stations.

- Drainage:

Drainage pipes inside and outside the building.

Connection to new sewer connection.

The rainwater is to be drained via an underground rigole.

- Sanitary ware:

WC with flush plates and urinal systems as well as hand wash basin with sensor-controlled fittings.

- Heating:

The transmission heat demand is to be covered by static heating surfaces. The heat is to be supplied via a district heating transfer station. Alternative energy concepts are desired.

-Ventilation:

The classrooms and recreation rooms as well as the canteen and kitchen area are to be mechanically ventilated and ventilated. If possible, the ventilation unit should be located in the loft/roof area of the building. Necessary zoning should be planned. Internal rooms and toilet rooms are to be equipped with energy-efficient single-room fans.

Alternative ventilation concepts can be proposed

- I&C technology:

Centrally controlled individual room control of all classrooms and groups, offices, meeting rooms and other common rooms with regular occupancy. The design of the I&C technology should enable central operation for the user and be energy- and cost-efficient (e.g. room thermostats/central setpoint encoders).

For this purpose, services are to be awarded in accordance with HOAI 2021, Part 4 Technical Equipment §53 ff. in conjunction with Annex 10.
